Sometimes
known as “New York, New York”,
New York City is home to the Statue
of Liberty, Times Square, the Empire
State Building, and a lot of surly
American citizens. The metropolitan
area of New York City contains about
twenty one million people, while the
“inner city” contains
about eight million people. New York
City is the second largest city in
the world, right behind Tokyo. Tokyo
claims to have about over thirty four
million people, so New York City has
a bit to grow if it wants to get the
title.
