The
Vittorio Emmanuelle monument was built
between 1885-1911 in honour of King Victor
Emmanuel. It is also the resting place
of the unknown soldier and has an eternal
flame and is guarded by soldiers. It has
many steps leading up to a viewing area.
Some people call it the typewriter because
of its looks.
