Gordon’s
Bay is a beautiful stretch of land outside
of place called Clovelly Beach. Also close
to Coogee Beach, it has a small population
that is rarely visited by the comoon flow
of Australian tourists. Mostly unknown,
Gordon’s beach is a reward for the
thorough traveller; it consists of a small
beach at one end head, with a remnant
heath land area on its north side. In
fact Gordon’s bay is home to a mix
of exotic and native plant species, and
is home to the nearby Dunningham Reserve,
which is on top of the southern headland.
Those who visit Gordon’s Bay can
take in the Eastern Beaches Coastal Walk.
There is also the Gordon's Bay Amateur
Fishing Club, and rumour has it that many
enjoy scuba diving the underwater dive
trail at the bottom of the bay. Gordon’s
bay is an excellent place for jogging,
walking the dog, swimming, or simply enjoying
the rustic and rugged beach.
