One
of Chicago’s most attractive neighbourhoods,
the North Shore is full of opportunities
to get a good hotel room, spend the day
shopping, or merely see the sights. Quintessential
North Shore sites including the Baha'i
House of Worship and Frank Lloyd Wright's
prairie style homes. There are also museums
and exhibits dedicated to famous shipwrecks,
a great train robbery and a nazi prisoner
of war camp. The North Shore also has
one of the last steam train systems in
operation, and visitors can take a ride
as long as the system is working. Chicago’s
North Shore Community also boasts some
excellent parks, as well as some excellent
nature trails.
