Honolulu
is the largest city in the American State
of Hawaii. Located on the island the island
named O’ahu in the long chain of
islands that makes up Hawaii, Honolulu
has about 370 thousand people both in
the city and in the attached suburbs.
Most people know Honolulu because it contains
a very famous neighbourhood known as Waikiki.
Waikiki is famous because it is the center
of tourism in Hawaii and is filled with
hotels and resorts.
Honolulu is not only the largest city
in Hawaii but also the state capital and
most industrious port. It is chocked full
of tourists for the better part of the
year. Many people think of Honolulu as
being tropical but it can actually get
quite mild and even cold if the winds
are right. Because Honolulu is such a
populated area is starting to seriously
pollute the surrounding environment.

many tropical islands are somewhat uncivilized
due to their size Honolulu has everything
a modern person would want. It is very
urban, with its own set of highways and
public transportation. Of course, this
also means that with all the good things

paradise it never hurts to keep your wits
