People
say “everything is larger in Texas”.
If that’s true then those same people
would find Dallas to be “the place
to be”. Located in the biggest state
in the Union, Dallas is the biggest city
in its state and one of the biggest cities
in he country. When people across the
world think of Dallas (i.e. people from
outside of America) think of “Dallas”
the television show, where hungry oil
rich tycoons (and assorted hangers on)
wrestled for control of their empires.
The “real life” Dallas is
pretty much like everywhere else in the
country… except for the fact that
gets very hot!
Dallas is an important place to go for
people in the technology industry. Dallas
is home to many of the technology-sector’s
largest companies, and these companies
in turn invest and modernize Dallas. Dallas
sits in the middle of a vast urban sprawl
called the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex,
and this area in turn feeds into the rest
of the state.
