While
there are many places called Cleveland,
the one that most people think of is in
Ohio. One of largest cities in the United
States of America, the city of Cleveland
is located on the southern shores of Lake
Erie. Cleveland is an important city because
it has easy access to the Cuyahoga River,
and also the nearby Ohio river, which
is used to transport goods to places like
Cincinnati. Situated on what was once
a large festering swamp, Cleveland has
developed into a bustling metropolis that
any North American would be proud to live
in.
Some of the features of Cleveland include
the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the sports
park known as Jacobs Field (home of the
Cleveland Indians) and the Cleveland Museum
of Art. Cleveland is also the home of
many large companies have made their home
in Cleveland because of its role as a
transport hub. An example of this is Cleveland’s
contributions to car production in Detroit,
which is easily reached by highways and
road systems.
